Lipari Foods is recalling JLM Roasted Salted Pecan Halves because the containers are mislabeled—they actually contain filberts (hazelnuts) instead of pecans. This affects 98 cases distributed to stores in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, West Virginia, Indiana, and Montana.

Who is at risk

People with tree nut allergies, particularly those allergic to hazelnuts or filberts, are at risk since the product contains a different nut than labeled.

If you purchased this product (Lipari number 368729, UPC 094776110049), do not eat it if you have a tree nut allergy. Return it to the store where you bought it or contact Lipari Foods. Check your pantry and any similar nuts you may have purchased recently.
