What happened

Target's Archer Farms Turkey & Havarti sandwiches may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. This is a serious safety issue, which is why the FDA classified it as a Class I recall.

Who is at risk

Everyone should be concerned, but pregnant women, young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are at highest risk of severe illness from Listeria.

What to do

Do not eat this product. If you purchased an Archer Farms Turkey & Havarti sandwich (UPC 85239-03283) with a 5.7 oz size, throw it away or return it to Target. If you've already eaten one and develop symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or nausea, contact your doctor.
