What happened

Treehouse Foods is recalling several brands of frozen griddle pancakes and blueberry pancakes sold nationwide because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. The recall affects Wegmans, Yelloh, and Giant Eagle brand products.

Who is at risk

Everyone can be affected, but pregnant women, young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems face the highest risk of serious illness from Listeria.

What to do

Check your freezer for the recalled products using the UPC codes listed. If you have any of these pancakes, do not eat them—throw them away or return them to the store. Contact your doctor if you've eaten these products and experience symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or digestive issues.
