Treehouse Foods is recalling SE Grocers and Price Chopper brand griddle-style pancakes nationwide because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. This is a precautionary recall; no illnesses have been confirmed at this time.

Who is at risk

Everyone can get sick from Listeria, but pregnant women, newborns, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems face the highest risk of severe illness.

What to do

Check your freezer for the recalled products using the UPC codes listed (038259117194 or 041735157386). Do not eat them; throw them away or return them to your store for a refund. If you've eaten these pancakes and develop symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or diarrhea, contact your doctor.
