Treehouse Foods is recalling Simple Truth gluten-free blueberry waffles because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause illness. This is a precautionary recall as a potential contamination was identified during testing.

Who is at risk

While anyone can get sick from Listeria, pregnant women, young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are at highest risk for serious illness.

What to do

Check your freezer for this product (UPC 011110105509) and do not eat it. Either throw it away or return it to the store where you purchased it for a refund.
