What happened

Treehouse Foods is recalling several brands of griddle waffles (Krusteaz, Baker's Source, and Gordon Food Service) because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause illness. The recall affects products sold nationwide in the USA and Canada.

Who is at risk

While anyone can get sick from Listeria, it's especially dangerous for pregnant women, newborns, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.

What to do

Check your freezer for the recalled waffle products using the UPC codes listed. If you have them, do not eat them—throw them away or return them to the store. Contact your doctor if you've eaten these waffles and develop symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or digestive issues.
