The firm issued a press release on May 6, 2016, which encouraged consumers with affected bottles to return the product to the store for a refund. The recall will extend through the wholesale and retail distribution chain via scripted phone notification. The firm has informed distributors/retails to remove the product from shelves and track by using the best by date and sku. Products should be destroyed. The information has been posted on the firm website.

3617 12-8oz. bottle cases, 27218 12-16oz. bottle cases, 22241 12-32oz. bottle cases, and 9082 4-gallon cases

Coverage is predominately the Midwest, specifically Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Colorado and South Dakota. Smaller concentration of stores in ND, WY, UT, OK, TX, MN and WI.

Affected Production Dates are: "Home Style 8, 16 or 32 oz. bottles: "Case dates between 12/22/16 and 4/11/16 are recalled. "Gallons with case dates between 12/28/2015 and 4/10/2016 are recalled. Affected Best By dates are: "Home Style 8, 16 or 32 oz. bottles: "Bottles with Best By dates between 9/19/16 and 1/7/16 are recalled. "Gallons with Best By dates between 6/16/16 and 10/11/16 are recalled.
