What happened

Lidl US is recalling Duc De Coeur Camembert Cheese Croquettes (9 oz frozen boxes) because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause illness. The affected products were sold in stores across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.

Who is at risk

Everyone can be affected, but pregnant women, young children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems face more serious health risks from Listeria.

What to do

Check your freezer for this product using the UPC code 20238391, and do not eat it. Either throw it away or return it to Lidl for a refund. If you've eaten this product and develop symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or gastrointestinal issues, contact your doctor.
