Spokane Produce, Inc. is recalling Cilantro-Jicama Salad Kits because they may be contaminated with Salmonella Newport bacteria from onions supplied by Thomson International, Inc. This is a serious recall because Salmonella can cause illness.

If you purchased this product (Item 80195, 7.38 LB box) in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, or Wyoming, do not eat it—throw it away or return it to the store. Watch for symptoms like diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps for the next week and contact your doctor if you become ill.
