What happened

Mondelez recalled Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches (27.6 oz box with 20 packs) because some packages contained peanuts but weren't labeled as containing peanuts due to a packaging error. About 70 cases were distributed to eight states in the South and Midwest.

Who is at risk

People with peanut allergies are at risk if they purchased this product, as they may have consumed it thinking it was peanut-free based on the label.

What to do

If you bought this product in Alabama, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Missouri, check your package. If you have a peanut allergy and purchased it, do not eat it. You can throw it away or contact Mondelez for a refund.
