What happened

Friendly's ice cream mislabeled some Cookies and Cream containers as Vanilla Bean. The actual product inside contains wheat and soy, which were not listed on the label.

Who is at risk

People with wheat or soy allergies or sensitivities should be concerned, as they may have purchased this product expecting vanilla bean flavor without these allergens.

What to do

If you purchased a 48 oz Friendly's Vanilla Bean carton in Maryland, Virginia, or Pennsylvania, check if the lid says Cookies and Cream. If it does and you have wheat or soy allergies, do not consume it and return it to the store for a refund.
