Made Fresh Salads brand Jalapeno Cheddar Cream Cheese (5 lb tubs) has been recalled because it may contain Listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacteria. The affected product was distributed in New York.

Who is at risk

Everyone should be concerned, but especially pregnant women, young children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems, as they are more vulnerable to serious illness from Listeria.

What to do

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it. If you have consumed this product and experience fever, muscle aches, or other flu-like symptoms, contact your doctor.
