What happened

Kroger recalled a vegetable hummus platter because some of the cucumbers used in it were part of a previous recall for potential Salmonella contamination. The affected platters were made in-store and sold in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Who is at risk

Anyone who consumed this product could be at risk for Salmonella infection, though young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are more vulnerable to serious illness.

What to do

If you bought this platter (UPC 42421-61545), do not eat it—throw it away or return it to your local Kroger store for a refund. Watch for symptoms like diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps within a few days; contact your doctor if you develop these symptoms.
