What happened

Canteen Inc. found harmful bacteria called Listeria monocytogenes on one of their meat slicers during testing. This bacteria was potentially used to make FRESH TO YOU Tuscan Turkey Ciabatta sandwiches sold in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and West Virginia.

Who is at risk

This is most serious for pregnant women, newborns, elderly people, and anyone with a weakened immune system, though anyone who ate the product could be affected.

What to do

If you purchased this sandwich (UPC MGF9810, 9.18 oz), do not eat it—throw it away or return it to the store. Contact your doctor if you develop symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or nausea within 2 weeks of eating it.
