Harris Teeter is recalling ZENSHI HANDCRAFTED SUSHI Hybrid Ichi Platter (30pc, 27.6oz) because the cucumbers used to make the sushi came from a supplier's recalled batch that may contain Salmonella bacteria. A total of 232 trays were distributed across 8 states in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.

Who is at risk

Anyone who consumed this product could potentially get sick, though young children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems are at higher risk for serious illness from Salmonella.

What to do

If you purchased this sushi platter, do not eat it—throw it away or return it to Harris Teeter. Watch for symptoms of Salmonella infection (diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps) for several days, and contact your doctor if symptoms develop.
