What happened

Harris Teeter is recalling Zenshi Handcrafted Sushi Crunchy Rolls (imitation crab, 10-piece) because the cucumbers used to make them may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. This is a serious recall affecting about 10,000 trays sold in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions.

Who is at risk

Anyone who ate this product could potentially get sick, though young children, elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of serious illness.

What to do

If you purchased this product (check the UPC 0 23012 94287 8), do not eat it—throw it away or return it to Harris Teeter for a refund. Watch for Salmonella symptoms (diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps) for up to a week after exposure and contact your doctor if they develop.
